This is the sixth post in The Link Building Cookbook series of finding the best places to add links to your websites or blogs to help increase website traffic.
For all of you bloggers out there, I dedicate this post to showing you ways to get a ton of RSS syndication websites to link to your RSS feeds. Unfortunately these sites only help bloggers, but they help more than any standard link building technique. The websites update your feeds often, meaning they are giving you 3-10 backlinks to the MOST RECENT posts you have. This means in a year from now, you will still be getting 50-100 backlinks to the newest content you have. This results in your pages getting indexed very quickly, more authority will be given to every post, and google will crawl your website more. Enough garble… on to the goods!

Super helpful list. You just gave me a bunch of stuff to do this evening…
Thanks buddy great List
[…] Part 6 - RSS Feed Directory List […]
Great list though some of them seem to have disappeared. Thanks for sharing.
This is really good information. Please keep up the great work and keep sharing it.
Another great tip, this is why I subscribed to your blog.
went through the whole list today. not all of the sites are working, but most are operable. some really good ones in the list. thank you very much.
Is it possible that you can get caught for duplicate content if you do submit your feeds to RSS sites?
The majority of the directories only paste the first few sentences, so chances are THEY get penalized and not you… but I am sure it is possible.
The good outdoes the bad in my mind.
yeah man …great list of rss directories…thanks a lot

Thanks for providing those links at the bottom… it helped to filter out the non-working sites, and to provide clickable links in order to speed up the feed adding process. =)

Hi, could you or anyone else enlighten me on this.
If I install feedburner you get re-directed to feedburner when you click on my my feed link.
Does this mean that all my link juice will be passed onto feed burner if I link to my feed or does it then in turn get passd back on to me again?
Should I create 2 seperate feeds, one for feedburner and one for RSS feed directories?
All the links that you point to your feed should have “nofollow” on them. As for the directories, feedburner does what Google calls a “301 redirect”, meaning feed.burner.com/blah/blah/13823 (redirects to your blog post). The RSS directories link to the feedburner blog post, but all the search engine benefits are redirected.
In a nutshell, only use feedburner.
These should be very handy for getting some backlinks, though tedious.
Do you know of any automated feed submission software? A lot of those sites seemed like they didn’t have Captcha’s.
Can you guys give me some clue?
I am running a freelancer network
http://www.soskod.com
But my RSS shows jobs in different categories.
So, should i submit my feed to their directories? Coz some most of my job categories do not have project yet
Thanks for clarify me
I just found this free submission RSS directory : http://www.rssaround.com/.
Please take a look.
Your site is a great resource. I have spent hours here tonight reading and learning about things that I had not thought about. Thank you very much.
Great list, thanks. I’ve submitted my blog to all of them so I hope to see subscriber numbers jump soon.
Please add feed directory - http://88tem.com to the list.
