Every day I get a handful of people who ask me who I have that designs, codes, and builds my sites before I begin marketing them. I decided that I get asked so often that I will just write a blog post and forward all of the inquiries to this post. All of the parties listed below are honest recommendations, and I do not earn an affiliate sale for referring you to them. I respect their skills and believe they deserve an honest review.
My Designer: Justin of EyeDesi.com
Justin does an awesome job designing all of my websites. He designed WordHugger, rssHugger, the current MixedMarketArts blog theme, as well as the new one (5x better) in development. He designs quick, efficiently, and all I provide him with is a terrible 5 minute sketch in MSPaint. He turns an ugly little sketch into an amazing design, ready to be programmed into a website, or else coded into a Wordpress theme.
– You can contact Justin by email ( jbrownru at gmail.com ), or on AOL Instant Messenger. His username is: “xProvoke”
My Programmers:
Regan Johnson
I met Regan when I was hired to do viral marketing for Datepad. Regan has been coding for a really long time, and is probably the best programmer I have met. He codes in OOP, knows a lot of programming languages, gets stuff done on time, provides excellent support, includes awesome extras like administrator panels and stats, and everything else you could want. If you want your site to be flawless, Regan is your man.
You can find Regan over at his web development blog called Soaptray. On his blog, you can learn more about him, or contact him directly.
Andrew Vigotsky
Andrew is a friend of mine who I originally met when I had him code WordHugger and rssHugger for me. In all honesty, if you are not in a rush to get something done, you can save a lot of money having Andrew work for you. Andrew has provided support for months after completion of the programming job, and continues to help me out with things related to programming when they go wrong. If you want customer service, Andrew has it.
–You can contact Andrew by email (blink182av [at] gmail [dot com), or by AOL instant messenger (screename: blink182av).
My WordPress Coder: Rob Ottens
I do not know where I met this guy, but I believe it was on the Digitalpoint webmaster forums. I have only used Rob twice in the past (because I only needed two wordpress themes coded), but both times he has been very efficient. He is also quite inexpensive compared to most freelancers. I will continue to use him in the future, including when my new blog theme is done.
--You can contact Rob by email (robottens [at] live [dot] nl).
Great Guest Posts: Patrick Bisaillon
Patrick is the only person who I would ever pay to write guest posts. His work is of the highest quality that I ordered 5 guest posts to be used sometime in the next few months when posting days are slow or when I am out of town. He has a team of writers that also do guest posts over at his website: PiggyBankPie - If you are looking for guestposts for when you are leaving town, I recommend you give him a look.
–You can contact Patrick over at his website (piggybankpie.com).
This list will be updated as time goes by, and will be referenced quite often. None of these listings were paid or endorsed in any way. I highly recommend their work.

Great list man….I too was wondering the secret behind your successful ventures and I am very happy that you spilled your gems LOL….Wat about SEO you do it all by yourself?
It is nice to see you have some great tools you can use, but when you have an idea that is going to cost a bunch, how do you find partners for it?
Go with people you trust. I would partner with a friend who I know will work hard rather than a “seasoned professional in the business” anyday.
strange that (except for PBP) none of them have a web presence (?)
Not everyone needs one if they can get enough business from word of mouth recommendations. =)
Thanks for the inclusion in your list Collin - and I will agree that the referrals I receive from my clients are more than enough to keep a very healthy business alive. It’s all about communication and quality of work… the business will find you.
Don’t forget to add…
