Traffic from weird searches

Posted in General

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or get your blog updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

Most of us agree that the search engines work in mysterious ways some times… but this is a bit out there. My article that hit the frontpage of digg is currently ranking on the first page for the term masterbatory…

Thanks for the traffic Google…. lol.

What are the weirdest terms that you rank for?

Apparently Google is smarter than we are. I read your article, and don’t recall “masterbatory” in there at all.

I don’t believe I’ve had the pleasure of being graced by such amazing keywords yet.

Lemme dig up my Google statistics… hm….

“f6b3173f78c60b2383188f03e5310f85″ was a hit to my blog?
“i love max miroff” also led someone to Blog Badly. Guess I have a secret admirer
“impulse buying in airports”
“maid, steal”
“using wingdings in myspace”

I love you, Google.

masterbatory, huh? Talk about niche marketing. I just looked, and you have the indented second link, for this blog post… haha. You’re dominating the masterbatory top 10!

That’s too funny! Maybe Google thinks people should utilize their free time better by spending it here. :)
