Though I like the convenience of the service, what you have to realize is that each of the Social Media sites has different conventions. What goes to the frontpage of Digg may not register on De.li.cious - one set of tags and post description does not fit all. I wish I could tell you what each outlet favors - I'm still working on that. How I work SocialMarker now is to have different descriptions and tags typed up for each site. I can still run through the convenience of the service without blasting the wrong Outlets with the wrong information. What this post also does not generally address is that it may be better to focus on one Social Media Site. Better to have a good Stumble authority, for example, than to have no authority on all of the sites, even if that means you have to completely neglect a few sites that don't fit your niche.
