For those of you who have been reading my blog for less than a month, I make my online income report post once a month about my online earnings. These income posts are never meant to be for bragging purposes, but rather so that I can be completely transparent about what I earn online, so that years down the road I can show everyone my journey to wealth and how much hard work and dedication it involves, contrary to what many ebook sellers tell you. By being completely transparent about what I earn online also allows me to show you my biggest mistakes, and what I have learned from the most. The more mistakes I have, the more I learn from, and the more I show you how to avoid. My monthly online income reports are a summary of where I made my money, and where I lost my money.

Conclusion
This month was a bit different than usual, mainly due to the fact that I was in Nebraska competing on the Top Affiliate Challenge and didn’t come home until the 15th. It also added a difference to this months earnings because everything my team and I earned while in Nebraska doesn’t get added because I didn’t take first in the competition, so that throws an extra $3800 revenue out the door for me personally. These numbers are after I got rid of all Top Affiliate Challenge earnings and expenses, as the numbers above are from my personal campaigns.
While I kicked butt with MarketLeverage this month, I didn’t actually make that much since as you can see my adwords expenses were also through the roof. I actually ended up a bit in the red from my at-home campaigns after TAC, so I need to continually work on that.
My goals for August are to get everything in place and hopefully get my ppc/contextual campaigns profitable and on autopilot by August 31st when I head out to start my first year of college. While I am not making as much as I had hoped by this late in the year, my college expenses are only about $1000 per month and I am blowing that out of the water every year, so at the very least I have four years of pure profit ahead of me, in addition to everything that I have already earned.
Since college will be my biggest expense and I have that more than taken care of, I am going to be investing in buying sites that earn residual money every month since most of my income this year has been from buying and selling sites. I want to move towards sites that earn a little bit every month on autopilot. If you have any residual earning sites that you are looking at selling, shoot me an email.
I also have two startup ideas that I am going to be giving the green-light to be coded. One is almost finished although I just picked up a partner on it and my partner is a professional designer and programmer so he will be spicing things up for the site. When the site is ready to launch my blog readers will get a heads up to build their referrals on the site before the rest of the web gets their chance. Stay tuned!
How did you do this month?

Awesome man…. look at you college boy…. though, with as much as you own, college may seem ridiculous, and I know you even considered not going, but it’s the best idea…
1) For the eventual degree… it’s always good to have.
but 2) For the experiences….it’s a great time, especially with the cash you’ll have on hand!
Gr8 yaar
Please tell us tricks …
We will do the same …Any way good going keep it up ..

Great month, considering the TAC took up most of it! Glad to see that you are continuing to make some money! I look forward to seeing your August results.
Can’t wait for the new sites to launch!
How do you make money from viral marketing and linkbuilding?
Any tips?
I do marketing for startup websites, so I really don’t have any tips to give you other than that you can sell your own time/services if you are a professional in what you do.
Hey Collin… I always enjoy reading your blog and it is great to see a honest income report. You could have shown a high Market Leverage income and lower adwords… but, your work and ethics are always admired.
Well done excellent stats.
i’m interested it
Congratulation for the earnings, i see that your biggest earnings comes from MarketLeverage a lot of people do too today seems
seems you’re not putting too much on adwords….
congratulation !
It is a pretty good result ~
great earnings particularly from MarketLeverage
Hey Colin,
Welcome back from the top affiliate challenge and if I remember correctly, you did win the 2 day challenge. Congrats !!
Good luck with the 2 new sites.
Your blog’s an awesome resource! Thanks for all the valuable info, just added it to my bookmarks.
Congrats on your earnings… Keep doing what you do and you’ll make more and more each month! Its only a matter of time
Fantastic results for someone who just graduated from HS and is about to start college. (Now, if only my DAUGHTER could just have some of YOU rub off on HER, I could convince her how IMPORTANT that she set up a “free web site” at UC Berkeley–where she starts as a freshman on 8-23– and give me a LINK from her berkeley.edu page!).
I see the bulk of your income is from Link Building and Viral Marketing, and then Market Leverage. They seem to be pushing hard, and like a good horse to back, but the mainstay of your income is still the nitty gritty work.
so it is not so bad, isn’t it??
Looks good I love the stats updates and look forward to hearing more about your upcoming business ideas.
Collin, Congrats on participating in the Challenge, even though you didn’t take 1st place I’m sure you learned a lot and i bet it was a ton of fun. Thanks for posting about your income. Keep it up.
