Naymz is a free website that allows you to register a profile centered around your name and reputation. They say they allow you to “promote your good name online.”
In my opinion, the site is like LinkedIn.com, but not even close to being as good. The reason I am mentioning it in a post however is because you can link to your website or blog to increase your website traffic from the search engines.
For the speed readers:
Visit Naymz.com, sign up, create a free profile, and add your blog under the “links” category.
To maximize the publicity (and pagerank) that your profile will get, fill in as much fluff as possible, such as uploading a random picture, a random resume (i uploaded a text file that just said HELLO in it), and random social media profiles.
I received a quick 80 points which ranked my profile a 5/10, and will ultimately put me higher than most people. Sure if you spent a lot of time you could get an 8 or a 9, but those are just mostly for the people who pay the $9.99/m for online reputation management (a waste of money).
For inspiration, check out my fluffed profile here.
Notice:
The RSS links are nofollow but the homepage link is dofollow.
My thanks go out to DJ MC for the find. If you have a good site you can build PR2+ dofollow links from, contact me and you will get the props for it when I make a post about it, it is as simple as that.

Hey, you’re welcome! To raise your Rep score (mine’s now a “9″)you can buy the Trufina verification for $11 with a coupon code (use Google to find), and then you don’t have to buy the premium service.
Meh, you could spend that $11 to get some linkage rather that a little off page promotion.
Remember, I’m more of a brick-and-mortar type of business—I need to establish as much online credibility as possible— BBB online costs over $300 per year, now I’m verified by Trufina (no criminal record, no bad debts). For a small business like myself, its reassuring to a prospective client that I’m not an axe murderer or child molester!
I’ve been using Naymz for my social networking. I found social networking as a tool which had been primarily designed for social interaction and sharing. You can gain lots of friends and build reputation over the net.
Some people also promote that to me but i think tryinh it is far-fetched… I think am satisified w/linkedin
Will it act as a back link?
And if i upload crap will they ban me ???
Anyway thanks a lot for sharing with us …
Keep it up

I’ve used LinkedIn before. I’ll try this one out. Thank you.
What a stupid name for a site/service.. or should I say, what a stupid “nayme”.
*dry heaves*
Thanks for keeping us informed on more ways to get ahead in the never ending quest for shameless promotion. Keep it up.
this really helps . Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. I now have an account with naymz
I’ll set up and account anyway. Thanks.
If you are interested in link building, you can sign up to LookupPage , which is a new service in which you can easily create a public online profile and insert “do follow” links to all of your other profiles/websites.
This service in not a social network like LinkedIn or Naymz, but designated for professional users which want to create a web page of their own, that will be visible in all search engines.
LookupPage is free, but there is also a possibility to upgrade and get your own domain with sponsored listing to make sure you are found whenever you name is being searched on Google.
For example, you can Google my name or search my name in Yahoo to see that my LookupPage is the first result
Awsome info! Thanks for sharing. I have joined Naymz. Hope to get more links in the near future
Thanks for sharing, I updated my my naymz profile with some fluff and non-fluff stuff.
The RepScore jumped up to 8
Thanks for the tips.
Best regards,
Thomas
