Every month I make a public blog post about my online earnings for the month. These income posts are never meant to be for bragging purposes, but rather so that I can be completely transparent about what I earn online, so that years down the road I can show everyone my journey to wealth and how much hard work and dedication it involves, contrary to what many ebook sellers tell you.  By being completely transparent about what I earn online also allows me to show you my biggest mistakes, and what I have learned from the most. The more mistakes I have, the more I learn from, and the more I show you how to avoid. My monthly online income reports are a summary of where I made my money, and where I lost my money.

Update: Thanks to everyone that voted, although being behind 48 hours stopped me from getting into the final 8, however I was in the 93rd percentile, only a few votes away from ranking. There is always next month.

Although I am 19 days behind submitting one of my biggest startup ideas to IdeaBlob ($10,000 grant for the most popular business startup idea), I figured it was better late than never. I am going to need a lot of votes in a very little amount of time if I want to get into the $10,000 finalist round like I did last Thanksgiving with my rssHugger idea.

Aside from hitting the 6 month blogging mark, Google has finally given my blog sitelinks for my blog’s name: Mixed Market Arts.

While this may seem like a lame reason to post because there is nothing special about ranking for your website’s name, but it is a little more than that. Sitelinks are an automated feature of Google’s algorithm that gives a website an authority status for a specified keyword. This means that unless I do something extremely stupid, there is no reason I should ever stop ranking for that name. This also means that Google is now giving my domain, with my newly acquired pagerank 5, a good amount of trust in the eyes of the search engine, which should be later reflected across every page of the site. In simple terms, sitelinks are basically Google reminding you that you are slowly but surely growing into a ranking powerhouse, and that there is no denying that you are the only one who should rank for that term.

Looks like Google got around to updating their pagerank again, and my blog’s pagerank has increased from a 4 to a 5 which is pretty cool considering the gap from getting a 4 to a 5 is a heck of a lot larger than having a pagerank of 2 and moving it up to a 3.

As many of you have noticed, I have only had two blog posts in the last 11 days, one of which was a guest post. I wanted to make a quick blog post to let everyone know why I have slowed down my blogging schedule.

1. I have been spending a ton of time learning affiliate marketing with NeverBlue Ads.
2. I am auditioning for the Top Affiliate Challenge (Detailed post coming soon, for now, vote me a 10!).
3. One of my new startup websites is nearing completion (I will write a detailed post letting all my readers get a first hand look before the site goes public).

I just wanted to make a quick post announcing that I have reached two of my blog’s biggest milestones. My blog is now one of the top 10,000 blogs in the world according to Technorati. Being that there is well over 112,000,000 blogs on Technorati right now, having my blog be in the top 10,000 puts me in the VERY top percentile of blogs.

When I finally got around to getting this awesome theme released back in January, I redid all of my advertising prices as well as the way I did things. Since then, every advertisement link mentioned had the “nofollow” tag added to it, stopping Google from passing authority to the advertisers. I forgot one small detail though, back in my first month I had sold a few text links for $100 and forgot to add the nofollow tags to those, and some kind fellow decided to report my blog.
