This is a link building goldmine that you all should spend at least 30 minutes using because it is an incredibly simple, long term link building site that will help build your pagerank and increase your search engine traffic for very little effort.
Today’s link building tip is a site called Help. The site is much like Yahoo Answers as well as my previously mentioned posts about Unasked and Yedda. The difference is that HELP.com is a lot bigger and has a ton of members that you can build links from. Unlike the other smaller question and answer sites, HELP.com is gigantic and is now owned by CNET. By being owned by a multi-billion dollar company, the first thought that crosses my mind is that there is no webmaster who will manage the sites on a day to day basis, so my links will stay there forever.
A few months ago when I was testing out the site (to see if it was worthy of a post on my blog), I did one example post. Just checking back on it now, the link is still there and the page even has a pagerank of 1. This link took about 15 seconds worth of my time, so that is why I am recommending you spend a few minutes building links with HELP.com today so that you can get the benefit of the pagerank boost for the minimum amount of work involved.
HELP.com is an authority website with a strong pagerank 6/10, and it looks like that number isn’t going down anytime soon. Go to HELP.com, make an account, find a few random questions, answer them, and find a way to include your link. (Update: Upon testing, you cannot insert HTML into comments, so you cannot get any anchor text links. However, if you are the one asking the question you can include as many dofollow anchor text links as you want. So start asking simple questions! ) — You will thank me later when the next Google toolbar pagerank update happens.
PS: If you are having trouble thinking of a way to get a legit link, heres a little 5 second inspiration.

I just wanted to make a quick post thanking Geoff for writing a “free paid review” of my blog through a program he calls Reviewu. You can read his review here.
To follow up with that, I wanted to let you know that a few days ago my friend Richard over at the Link Building Bible Blog made a post about getting free backlinks from free reviews which is definitely worth the read, however I believe that CantGetRich.com should be added to the list.
I recommend reading Richards post, as well as taking a look at CantGetRich.com and especially his ReviewU section. For a blog with 162 RSS readers that is offering anyone free links and promotion, you would be stupid not to take up that offer.
Due to the nature of these posts, it may take awhile before Geoff gets around to reviewing you, but like people always say, you get what you pay for!

For those of you who keep up to date with my link building cookbook series, you have read my post about Squidoo, the website that lets you write articles and allows for backlinks to your sites.
Today’s link building post is about a similar site, one where you can register and write about anything and earn a share of the advertising revenue. The advertising share is 50% to the writers, 10% to the commentators, and 5% for all the referrals. The remaining 35% goes to the site owner(s). The website I am talking about is called ThisIsBy.us
While I know some people do write and optimize posts or traffic and revenue, I only use the site for backlink purposes. Whatever you decide to do, I recommend you at least try the website.
For link building purposes, you can register, login, and write an article about whatever you want, and have it be however long you want. If you are really lazy, you can write a one sentence article with a link to your site.
To get the most out of your link building campaign with ThisIsBy.us, you should include a bit of content and some optimized titles and keywords.
You can see my example article about real estate investments, as well as my one on free online dating.
The sky is the limit on how many links you can build, so start slamming those keyboards and enjoy the long term search engine traffic that my tips bring you!

As of late, I have been finding ways to build links with Yahoo Answers clones, and I have found another one that provides dofollow anchor text backlinks. The site is called Blurtit. Since the site is basically the same as link building with Yedda, I don’t believe I need to add any step by step instructions. Answer a question, include your link, and then repeat!
For the visual learners, here is my example link.
